Who we are
TA Capital Investments Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17364913. Our registered office is Manor House, 35 St Thomas’s Road, Chorley PR7 1HP. If you have a question about how we handle your data, email thomas@tacapital.co.uk.
Contact form
When you use the contact form on this website we collect your name, email address, phone number and message, so we can reply to your enquiry. For a general enquiry, we rely on the consent you give when you submit the form, and it is also in our legitimate interests to respond. If your enquiry is about reserving a specific property, we do this because you have asked us to take steps before a possible agreement. Providing this information is your choice, but we cannot reply without it.
Booking page
When you book a call with Thomas at register.tacapital.co.uk we collect your name, email address, phone number, the budget you have available to buy a property as a band, and your timescale. We use this because it is in our legitimate interests to prepare properly for the call, or because you have asked us to take steps before a possible agreement. Providing this information is your choice, but we may not be able to book or prepare for your call without it.
WhatsApp community
Joining the WhatsApp community is governed by WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy, which you should read before joining. When you join, TA Capital sees the phone number and name you use to join. We use this, on the basis of the consent you give by joining, to share properties with the group. We keep this information for as long as you remain in the group.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Squarespace’s built in analytics and functional cookies, to help it run properly and understand how it is used. A cookie banner asks for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set on this website. The booking pages at register.tacapital.co.uk use a Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of advertising. You can control cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Marketing messages
We only send marketing by SMS, WhatsApp or email if you give consent at the point we collect your information. Joining the WhatsApp community counts as this consent for the property updates shared there. We do not use pre-ticked boxes. Every marketing message we send includes a way to opt out, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share your information with
We share information with the suppliers who help us run our business. These are Squarespace, which hosts this website, a customer relationship system we use to manage enquiries and bookings, Microsoft 365, which we use for email, and Meta, which supports WhatsApp and our Facebook page. If you ask us to introduce you to a finance or legal partner, we pass on the contact details needed for that introduction. We only share what each supplier or partner needs to provide its service.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry and booking data for 24 months from your last contact with us, unless a client relationship begins. If it does, we keep your information for the life of that relationship, and for six years afterwards, to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Where your information is stored
Some of the suppliers we use store information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on safeguards such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses, or a UK adequacy regulation confirming the destination country offers an equivalent standard of protection, so your information stays protected wherever it is held.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website and our services are not aimed at anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be dated, and the version on this page is always the current one. This policy was last updated on 28 September 2026.
